The little knitted house is gorgeous.

As I live in Australia, winter for me falls in June and July. This is a wonderful time to visit our cottage in the Blue Mountains and to go bushwalking, as the air is so fresh that it's like drinking champagne. At night it is a lovely time just to sit in front of the fire and knit. I really like the cold weather, perhaps it's because of my Scottish ancestry!

Thank you for your giveaway thought Julia.

I love to cook a lot for the family and make traditional cakes, and I love to read the new detective novels as I usually get some (also hope to receive some this Christmas).

The little knitted house is so lovely and it's a beautiful thought to present it to someone.

Lots of love,
Anna

I could live in that little croft house given half the chance!! The thing I love about winter is an afternoon walk in freshly fallen crunchy snow playing snowballs with the grandchildren, then coming home to a bowl of steaming soup and hot chocolate with marshmallows then as dusk falls I light lots of candles and we all curl up on the settee and watch a movie. Congratulatioons on your 3rd anniversary and please put my name in the hat to win your lovely "croft cottage", Lucey x

I love how it makes us prioritize and hunker down together. We live in frigid North Dakota, and there are weeks that we really can't go outside. You really debate if you truly need to go do ______, and usually just end up snuggling in tight with each other !

Oh, I am swooning over the cuteness of your little house. I cannot knit or crochet for anything. I've tried many times, and my hands just turn stupid. I have such admiration for people who can.

What I love best about winter is the quiet. Everything gets so quiet here, and I feel that I can hear myself think.
