Swallowtail Shawl - II
I cast on yesterday evening for this shawl (which I originally talked about here) in Rowan Classic Wool Silk DK in Limewash on size 4.5mm circular needles. After being unable to decide on a strong colour I went back to a "safe choice" neutral shade which I hope will go with anything. The yarn is lovely to work with and very, very soft next to the skin. Originally this yarn was destined to be a cardigan which had vast amounts of stocking stitch started in June 2009 here. I can no longer face any more of that stocking stitch on size 4mm needles so the cardigan is no more....and I have lots of this yarn for more projects!
