Aurora Watch UK sends out text message alerts when there is a chance of seeing the light show. So with a clear sky last night we went out after dark in the freezing cold in search of the Northern Lights. Lots of stars and two bright light bulbs in the sky but no aurora. You'll have to take my word for it that's Venus and Jupiter against a starry background. Need a better camera.
The daffodil's are looking pretty.
Preparing for planting this years potato crop.
Hoping that my brown morrit ewe is in lamb and will be a mommy soon.
Jobs to do - cleaning out the sheep shelter.
Exhausted, retire inside for a sit down, a cup of tea and some cake.
