Here's the Red Roof Croft House in the Spring 2012 Issue of Simply Knitting Magazine. Thanks to Folksy.com for organising this little mention and to Wendy at Peacocks and Petticoats for bringing to my attention. A few more shots of the magazine...I like the knitting yarn review page. There's a nice looking Troon Tweed ( spun in Scotland) I haven't tried by Texere Yarns company based in Bradford in good old Yorkshire.

Mothers Day
Hope you are all having a lovely mothers day. Currently back in Scotland. There's been a lot of solar activity recently and sightings of the aurora up here. This website Aurora Watch UK sends out text message alerts when there is a chance of seeing the light show. So with a clear sky last night we went out after dark in the freezing cold in search of the Northern Lights. Lots of stars and two bright light bulbs in the sky but no aurora. You'll have to take my word for it that's Venus and Jupiter against a starry background. Need a better camera.
The daffodil's are looking pretty.
Knitting and crochet projects underway. More about these next week. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
